I want to see how long a 25 will hold up, probably the most I've shot out of one of several HP25s is about 200 rounds. I could see a role for the 25 for a gun for someone that is recoil sensitive.
1st off, thanks to the responses. I concur that the HP22 or 25 isn't a particularly great carry gun. With that mentioned, 22LR is definitely probably the most reasonable ammo available.

I picked up a pre-A HP22 from the area deal rag a few several years back, in the initial box, with perhaps one magazine place as a result of it. Experienced to work on the ramp a little bit with a good file, pre-emptively replaced the recoil spring, and it runs decent.

Gotta agree with Icback on this. As a different shooter, the SO was getting pissed off with the safety/magazine drill on the her HP-22a, to the point of near unsafe steps.
What wasn’t advertised was that if you obtain just one, a brick of 22LR was only an additional $20….As well superior to go up. (Haven't seen a brick of 22LR in a few several years where I Reside.) Swift excursion to the LGS Friday and took a person home.

I had a number of quick-strokes After i fired it straight out in the box, but once I place a little bit gun oil on, that went away. After that, I'd some nose-up jams after firing several hundred rounds without cleaning, but I wiped the (instead thick) coating of grime off of the feed ramp, and those disappeared, much too. It isn't going to appear to be prone to limp wristing or firing sideways or the wrong way up, possibly.
